Lagon Revue / Séverine Bascouert / Sammy Stein

The magazine Lagon focuses on new forms of graphic storytelling and highlights comics that blur the boundaries with other artistic practices, like painting, sculpture, installation, video games and graphic design. The bilingual (French/English) magazine combines works by established and emerging artists alike and is partially printed and distributed by its editorial team. With each new volume, the publication changes its name. Séverine Bascouert and Sammy Stein, two of the founding members, will also present their latest work, like the brand-new series of zines France Atlantide. In this series, they explore spaces occupied by individuals whose ideas, beliefs, convictions, or points of view defy common sense.

Lagon magazine and Dieter Durinck will take part in From Here to There, a series of exhibitions that invite a dialogue between artists and publishers. From Here to There runs from 27 November to 7 December and is hosted at VROOM, Rue Docteur De Meersman 19, 1070 Anderlecht, Brussels
